The French restaurant Mirazur of famous Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco, who is located in the coastal city of Menton, was in first place in the annual ranking of the "50 best restaurants in the world" by the British magazine The Restaurant.

It is noted that the institution is known for its picturesque views of the French Riviera, its own garden and unique cuisine with a predominance of fish dishes. It was opened in 2006 and debuted in the ranking three years later. In 2019, he won the third Michelin star.

In second place was the Danish restaurant Noma, which is regularly included in the top 10 list, and in third place - the Spanish Asador Extebarri. The top ten included another restaurant from Copenhagen - located in the building of Geranium football stadium, two Spanish institutions (Mugaritz from San Sebastian and Barcelona Disfrutar), two restaurants from the Peruvian capital Lima (Central and Maido), and Gaggan (Bangkok) and Arpege (Paris).

Compared to last year, the top 10 left last year's winner - Italian Osteria Francescana, the legendary New York Eleven Madison Park and Spanish El Celler de Can Roca.

The list has been compiled by The Restaurant magazine since 2002, it is based on the opinions of more than 800 cooks, restaurateurs and critics from different countries.
